After three years of rigorous training and practice, five top Broadcasting and Anchoring (Bilingual in Chinese & English) majors from the School of International Studies earned conditional graduate program offers in September with strong recommendations from their school, a testament to their academic and practical excellence.
Han Yifan, the top student academically in the class, was admitted to Tsinghua University while Li Yiwei, recognized for overall excellence, and Hou Jialiang, who excelled in international communication practice, were accepted by Peking University. Widely regarded as China's top two universities, Tsinghua and Peking consistently place among the world's top 20 in recent QS World University Rankings.

Gu Chengzhe, a student leader with extensive experience organizing campus events, was admitted to East China Normal University (ECNU). Li Yiming, an accomplished English speaker and oratorwith national honors in cross-cultural communication and English competitions, will attend Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU). Both ECNU and BFSU are prestigious institutions, renowned respectively as a leader in teacher education and a cradle for diplomats.

The students gained their admissions through diligent work and well-rounded development. After earning pre-admission qualifications from Communication University of China (CUC) in recognition of their achievements in professional practice, academic research, voluntary service, and contest participation, they proceeded to apply for their dream universities. The final offers were confirmed following strict processes that included both written examinations and interviews.
The Broadcasting and Anchoring (Bilingual in Chinese & English) program, a specialized art major under the School of International Studies at CUC, is designed to cultivate versatile bilingual talents in cross-cultural communication with a global perspective. Students follow a diverse curriculum covering core practical courses in bilingual broadcasting, hosting, and news reporting, key academic subjects such as international journalism and critical review of news program, and advanced courses in English literature and audio-visual production.
